Design of a mobile application that allows Chang’s Taekwondo members and their families to download discount coupon QR codes more accessible and an admin website that manages members and partner companies　that offer service or products intuitively for an admin side.

Week 1. Empathize & Define

  • User research approach

    • Conducted user interviews to identify pain points and uncover key user needs.

  • Problem statement

    • Students and their families need a simple, centralized solution to access exclusive coupons and foster a stronger sense of community within their school. Currently, there is no platform that efficiently combines coupon access with user and partner management capabilities.

    • Design an intuitive app that enables students and their families to easily access exclusive coupons. Develop a complementary admin panel that allows for seamless management of users and partnered coupon providers.

Reflections

The most valuable lesson from this project was the importance of clear team communication and alignment. Following consistent design guidelines across the team was essential to maintaining a cohesive user experience.

One of the main design challenges was creating an intuitive dashboard for the admin panel that allows users to easily analyze coupon redemption data. Through research, user feedback, and iterative design, we ensured that the interface is both functional and user-friendly.
